Customised hand-engraved heraldic medal
An intimate and precious piece of jewellery, the heraldic medal celebrates the family history and values you wish to wear or pass down, just like a signet ring. Made to measure and then engraved by hand, it embodies the enduring heraldic tradition and illustrates the craftsmanship that is the fruit of 200 years of heritage.
A discreet and symbolic piece of jewellery
Its intimate and discreet nature, worn close to the heart, makes the engraved medal deeply symbolic. Whether you give it as a gift on the occasion of a birth, a wedding or any other stage in life, the armorial medal is the messenger of your family identity. Transmissible by nature and destined to live several lives, it will be passed on to future generations who will continue to write your history, and on the back, we can engrave a dedication, a date or a first name.
A family medal to accompany you
Your personalised medal comes to life through a creative dialogue. With all the expertise and exacting standards of the House of Agry, we work with you to explore your family crest or coat of arms, define the ideal shape for the medal and choose the most appropriate metal. Made to measure in 18-carat gold, silver or stone, your jewel is finely engraved by hand by our master craftsmen in our Paris workshops.
Our custom-engraved 18-carat gold medals start at €1,950 including tax (January 2026).
Round: The round medal is the classic shape par excellence, a timeless form that allows coats of arms to fully express themselves.
Oval: The oval medal is another classic shape that allows plenty of space for coats of arms with proportions that are taller than they are wider.
Repercée: The shaped or repercée medal is the result of a goldsmith’s work. We cut out as many elements as possible to play with the contours and voids, highlighting the engraving of the coat of arms.
Gold: Our company uses only 18-carat gold, which ensures excellent resistance over time while offering a beautiful yellow gold colour. This alloy also makes it possible to adjust the colour of the metal by playing on the proportions of silver, copper and palladium to offer rose gold or white gold. White gold is rhodium-plated white gold, i.e. plated with rhodium to whiten the surface of the white gold.
Silver: Chosen for its beautiful luminosity and finesse, it is less resistant to time and oxidises, lending itself to more occasional wearing.
